The short answer

mydawAI is an Indian medicine reminder and refill service on WhatsApp. It reads your prescription, reminds you and your family with a one-tap Taken button, and refills from your local pharmacy after your yes, free while in beta.

mydawAI (pronounced "my dawai", from the Hindi word for medicine) is an Indian medicine reminder and refill service that works on WhatsApp. It reads your prescription, sets up a schedule with you, reminds you and your family at the right time, and asks your local pharmacy to refill when stock runs low, only after you say yes. It lives at mydawai.in.

What does mydawAI do?

mydawAI handles the whole medicine routine: setting up the schedule, reminding every dose, tracking who took what, and refilling. It does it on WhatsApp, so there is nothing new to learn.

  • Reads prescriptions from a photo or PDF, and understands voice notes in English and Hindi
  • Reminds on WhatsApp with one Taken button per dose
  • Covers the whole family through the Care Circle, with no limit on members
  • Alerts the caretaker when a family member's dose goes untaken, if turned on
  • Tracks stock with every Taken dose
  • Refills from your local pharmacy on WhatsApp, only after your yes
  • Chintu, the koala assistant, answers on WhatsApp and by voice in the app

You can chat with Chintu on WhatsApp or talk to it by voice in the web app. It answers questions about your schedule, marks a dose taken when you say so, and makes changes to your medicines after you confirm. It can share general information about medicines on your list, but it never diagnoses or changes doses.
