About mydawAI (My Dawai)

mydawAI is an Indian medicine reminder service on WhatsApp. Every dose arrives as a WhatsApp message with one Taken button, for you and for every family member you add. Chintu, the mydawAI koala, answers questions about your medicines on WhatsApp and by voice in the web app.

What mydawAI does

  • Reminds you on WhatsApp at the times your doctor prescribed, with a one-tap Taken button.
  • Sets up from a prescription photo or PDF, a voice note in English or Hindi, or typing, and asks about anything missing before saving.
  • Care Circle: add parents, a partner or children. Each gets reminders on their own WhatsApp after they agree, and you hear if a dose goes untaken.
  • Counts stock with every Taken and, when you turn on auto-refill, asks you first, then sends the order to your own local chemist on WhatsApp.
  • Speaks English and Hindi, chosen for each person.
  • Encrypts medical data at rest and keeps it in India (AWS Mumbai). Your data is not sold or used for ads.

How do you spell it?
The name is written mydawAI: "my dawai" (my medicine) plus AI. People also type it as mydawai, My Dawai, MyDawai or рдорд╛рдпрджрд╡рд╛рдИ. They all mean the same service at mydawai.in.
Is mydawAI the same as My Dawai Wala?
No. mydawAI is not connected to My Dawai Wala or any other company with a similar name. mydawAI does not deliver medicines itself. It reminds you to take them and sends refill orders to the local chemist you choose.
Who is it for?
Anyone who takes medicines every day, and the people who look after them: grown-up children caring for parents, parents managing a child's course, and families in India or abroad keeping an eye on someone at home.
How much does it cost?
mydawAI is free during beta. There is no card on your account, so nothing can be charged.
