Who is behind mydawAI?

mydawAI is built in India by the mydawAI team. It started from a simple, familiar problem: a parent forgetting a blood pressure tablet, a strip running out on a Sunday, and a family group full of "did you take your medicine?" messages.

Why did the team build mydawAI?

Because medicine reminders in India should live where families already talk: WhatsApp. Most reminder apps assume the person taking the medicine will install and open an app. In many Indian homes, the person who needs reminding most is the one least likely to do that, and the person worried about them lives in another city.

So mydawAI sends each dose on WhatsApp with one Taken button, tells the caretaker when a dose is missed, and refills from the chemist the family already trusts, only after a yes.

What does the team believe in?

• Nothing new to learn. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use mydawAI.
• Consent first. Nobody gets reminders until they agree, and no order reaches a pharmacy without your yes.
• No medical advice. Chintu, the mydawAI koala, helps you remember and shares general information, but your doctor decides.
• Privacy by default. Medicine data is encrypted at rest and hosted in India.
• Honesty. We only describe features that actually ship.

Who is Chintu?

Chintu is the mydawAI koala, the friendly face of the assistant. Koalas are famously sleepy, which is the joke: Chintu admits it is bad at remembering things too, which is why it is building an app for it. Chintu answers your questions on WhatsApp and by voice in the web app.
