The short answer

Go to app.mydawai.in/signup, enter your name, email, WhatsApp number and a password, then confirm your number when mydawAI messages you on WhatsApp. Add your medicines by photo, voice note or typing, and from then on each dose arrives on WhatsApp with a Taken button.

How do I start using mydawAI on WhatsApp?

Sign up on the web, confirm your WhatsApp number, add your medicines. The whole thing takes a few minutes, and there is nothing to install.

Step 1: Sign up

Open app.mydawai.in/signup on your phone or computer. Enter:

  • Your name
  • Your email
  • Your WhatsApp number
  • A password

Step 2: Confirm your WhatsApp number

mydawAI sends a message to your WhatsApp number. Confirm it there. Depending on what the page shows, you either tap to confirm or send the short message the page gives you to mydawAI on WhatsApp. That one step proves the number is yours, and your account is ready the moment it is confirmed.

You do not need to save mydawAI's number first or hunt for it. The sign-up page gives you the button that opens the right chat.

Step 3: Add your medicines

Choose whichever is easiest:

  1. Prescription photo or PDF. mydawAI reads it and lists the medicines.
  2. Voice note in English or Hindi, such as "Telma 40 every morning after breakfast".
  3. Typing the medicine, dose and time.

mydawAI asks about anything missing, like a time or a dose, and nothing is saved until you check it. You can also send a prescription photo straight to Chintu on WhatsApp.

Step 4: Get your first reminder

At the next dose time, the reminder arrives on WhatsApp with a single Taken button. Tap it after you take the medicine. A dose can be marked from 30 minutes before its time, and only on its own day.

Step 5: Add your family (optional)

Add parents, a partner or children to your Care Circle. Each person gets a WhatsApp asking if they want reminders, and their reminders start after they agree. You can turn on missed-dose alerts so you hear if a dose goes untaken.

What can I say to Chintu on WhatsApp?

Chintu, the mydawAI koala, replies to your messages in the same chat. Try:

  • "What do I take tonight?"
  • "I took my Metformin."
  • "Change my BP tablet to 9 PM." (Chintu asks you to confirm first.)

Chintu never diagnoses or changes a dose on its own judgement. For medical decisions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Something not working?

  • No message on WhatsApp? Check that the number has the right country code (+91) and that WhatsApp is installed on it.
  • Wrong number? Use "Wrong number?" on the sign-up page to change it.
  • Still stuck? Use "Report a problem" in the app.
